I don’t know about you, but I find myself these days asking the exact same question almost every single day – “How can you defend this?!”
DOGE is finding corruption, waste, fraud and misspent dollars every day. USAID was one of the worst offenders. The list was disgusting of what we were funding:
- $1.5 million to advance DEI in Serbia's workplaces.
- $70,000 for a production of a DEI musical in Ireland.
- $47,000 for a transgender opera in Colombia.
- $32,000 for a transgender comic book in Peru.
- $20 million to create a Sesame Street in Iraq
- $2 million for Moroccan pottery classes and promotion
- $2 million promoting tourism to Lebanon
- More than $9 million of USAID's 'humanitarian aid' intended to feed civilians in Syria ended up in the hands of violent terrorists, including an affiliate of Al Qaeda in Iraq.
- As much as $10 million was used by an al Qaeda-linked group for meals.
- $78,000 to a non-profit linked to designated terrorist organizations including Pakistan's Falah-e-Insaniat Foundation — even after an inspector general launched an investigation.
- $15 million in taxpayer funds to Taliban-controlled Afghanistan to help distribute 'oral contraceptives and condoms.'
- $6 million was used to fund tourism in Egypt
- $2.5 million for electric vehicles for Vietnam
- $1.5 million to 'advance diversity equity and inclusion in Serbia's workplaces and business communities.
To the leftist liberals, I ask again – How do you defend this?! How is this okay? How is spending money on these programs that do not benefit the United States when we need all the help we can get to fix our own issues admissible? I get that JFK started USAID but I would argue that this was not his intent.
The lack of teeth when it comes to immigration and the southern border was a major issue and it continues to get cleaned up. More foreign criminals including entire gangs are finding themselves in planes heading back for their home countries to deal with them. Did anyone sign up to allow murders, rapists, and thieves to walk free on our streets? I didn’t.
How can anyone defend keeping them in our country? Why would we choose for our homes to be less safe and risk our children’s lives so that we can support madness?
Voters wanted to stop the DEI focused policies, trans athletes to play sports against their biological gender, and "wokeism" to end. These are frustrating issues that never needed to be issues.
The governor of Maine has taken a defiant stance against President Trump and is refusing to support his executive order to stop trans athletes from competition. The president has threatened to withhold federal funding and her response was, “We’ll see you in court.”
The Wisconsin governor Tony Evers has taken it one step further and is trying to get the state to change its language to more gender-neutral terms when it comes to what we call a mother. He would like a mom to be known as an “inseminated person”.
Newsweek described it this way, “Republicans in the state were particularly rankled by a proposal to change the term ‘mother’ to ‘inseminated person’ in a section regarding in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures done in Wisconsin. Among other things, critics said Evers, a Democrat, is ‘woke virtue signaling’ and that the proposal makes Wisconsin a ‘national embarrassment.’"
How do you defend this? How can you rationally look at me and tell me that a trans-gender athlete has every right to compete against their biological opposite? How do you defend ending the term of “mother” or “father”? How do you continually defend a DEI mentality that has stripped and destroyed our workforce?
I have an idea. Instead of wasting time in these states with non-sensical ideas, why not work on how you can balance your budget, help your citizens, and make your state more affordable to live in so that you and attract business?
The Department of Education is on the chopping block and the leftist cheerleaders are continuing to freak out. The reality is that this is NOT a bad thing as it will send educational ideology and leadership back to the states resulting in smaller government. It also may create additional educational innovation, which is what we desperately need.
American voters spoke loud and clear and wanted our country to make concerted efforts to move back toward a constitutional republic by way of a smaller government with less spending.
Patriots, we are making huge strides by the day toward the third great awakening and the golden age of America. Our president and his cabinet are courageously fighting to do all they can to end the nightmare we have been living in while creating a big, bright future.
Let’s keep cheering our leaders on and committing to pray for them as they wage this war on behalf of all American citizens. We are living in exciting times!
