PART 2 - Funding Riots and Destruction – How the Radical Left Continues to Try to Bully America
Share
In recent years, America has faced an unsettling surge in violent protests and riots. While the Constitution guarantees the right to peaceably assemble, we must draw a clear line between lawful expression and organized destruction. What began as calls for justice have too often turned into chaos, and it is increasingly apparent that many of these incidents have been excused—or even supported—by radical left-wing movements and Democratic-aligned entities.
The summer of 2020 marked a turning point. Under the banner of social justice, cities from Minneapolis to Portland were set on fire. Over $2 billion in damage was caused in what became the most costly civil unrest in U.S. history.
In Portland, rioters attacked federal courthouses for over 100 consecutive nights. In Kenosha, Wisconsin, businesses were destroyed and citizens lived in fear after armed mobs took over their streets. In cities like Seattle, “autonomous zones” were declared—lawless pockets where police were pushed out and crime ruled.
The response from many Democratic leaders? Silence, excuses, blame, or even support. Vice President Kamala Harris promoted a bail fund to help release rioters in Minnesota, a move that raised alarms among law enforcement and victims of the violence.
Far from being simple unplanned protests, many of these events were backed by coordinated and well-funded activist networks. Organizations such as Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation have openly admitted to being founded by trained Marxists. These groups seek not only criminal justice reform, but also the dismantling of traditional American institutions, including the nuclear family and capitalism itself.
Funding for these groups often flows through nonprofits and political action networks with ties to major Democratic donors. For example, entities associated with George Soros's Open Society Foundations have poured millions into protest-related activism and criminal justice reform efforts.
What’s more troubling is that this money supports legal defense funds for rioters, coordination of mass demonstrations, and public relations campaigns that justify lawlessness as a form of resistance.
The consequences of this political silence and radical encouragement have been devastating. Cities that bowed to pressure and defunded their police departments saw immediate spikes in crime. In Minneapolis, after the city council slashed the police budget, violent crime rose dramatically, including a 537% increase in carjackings.
Nationwide, 2021 marked the highest number of police officers shot in the line of duty in 20 years. When public leaders refuse to support law enforcement, criminals get braver, take more risks, and citizens like you and me suffer.
The radical left’s goal is not reform—it is revolution. The ideological foundation of these movements often rejects the U.S. Constitution, denies American patriotism, and advocates for systemic destruction. Their vision is one of division, socialism, governmental dependency, and moral relativism.
Contrast that with the American ideal: a nation founded on liberty, individual rights, small government, and the rule of law. True patriotism is not blind nationalism—it is the recognition that despite our imperfections, America remains the greatest force for good the world has ever known. As President Ronald Reagan once said, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.”
It’s time to push back against the culture of shame, guilt, and attempting to erase our history. We need to teach our children that the American flag is a symbol of sacrifice, not oppression. We must support police officers who risk their lives daily and demand that elected officials speak out forcefully against all forms of political violence—regardless of who commits it.
Most importantly, we must revive our sense of shared national identity. America is not a racist country. It is not broken. It does not need to be dismantled. It needs to be defended—from threats both foreign and domestic.
The radical left wants you to believe that patriotism is outdated. That the Constitution is obsolete. That your love of country is somehow offensive.
They are wrong! This nation is worth loving, protecting, and saving.
To the silent majority: it’s time to stop being silent. To the political leaders afraid of offending the mob: your silence is complicity. To every American who believes in law, order, faith, and freedom—stand firm.
After all, America is more than just a country. It is an idea, a promise, and a beacon of hope. We, the people, must never let it fall.
